Limbaugh and Rove to Appear on... Family Guy?

"'Family Guy' tends to be very liberal because it's written by liberals," creator Seth MacFarlane said. "So we figured, let's give the other side some face time."

The interview took place on Wednesday, after the cast performed a live table read of the controversial abortion episode, which never aired but will be included in next season's DVD package. (For those who care, back in 2005 Bbag took a few of us to a similar reading when Fox "uncancelled" the show. These guys are extremely talented.) Here's a clip:

Rove is to many liberals as Health Care Reform is to many conservatives: it's a lot of yelling and screaming about something that nobody wants to take the time to really understand.

I'm psyched that Rove will be on Family Guy. I'm not a fan of his, per se, however, I do find his submissions to the WSJ very interesting. I make it a point to read them every time. Even if you don't agree with him, and many don't, he articulates his points and his misgivings about the other side both succinctly and effectively. He gives intelligent insight to the opinions of many Americans who are often disregarded as ignorant and worthless by the left, even if they make up half of our country. You've got to at least respect that.

Limbaugh, on the other hand, is a man that I do not care for. Still, it's cool that Family Guy is having them on. Great show.
