My buddy told his girlfriend this short story at the beach: “There I was, caught between a wave coming from the ocean and a wave coming from the shore, and when they collided around me, the water literally shot 15 feet into the air.” To be honest, when he first told me that story he said 10 feet, and when I originally saw it happen the water only went about 5 feet high. But still, the whole thing was pretty impressive. I mean the fibbing.

I remember when I was studying for the SAT’s I had a flashcard that said, “Eschew chewing gum.” I still have no idea what that word means.

Believe it or not, showers make a lot of good things worse. What am I talking about? Well, sex and farts, for starters. I’m sure there’s other stuff, too.

Actual subway ad for TCI College: “Don’t let your past mistakes hold you back from a brighter future” and the picture of a black man kissing a mulatto baby. I thought, TCI College – now that’s an odd name for a foster home.

I don’t have a problem with the new look of our site logo; I just wish I had gotten the memo that we were going to change our name to “Eastbay All My Deals Are Live” and then to “Evony All My Deals Are Live.” Personally, I don’t think EAMDAL has the same ring to it.
